| Makes about: 2 servings |

Ingredients:

  • 1 apple cut into small chunks

  • 1 cup Whole Grain Oats Old Fashioned

  • Β½ tsp. cinnamon powder

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 cup of almond milk

  • 2 Stevia packets

  • 1 tsp. Chia seeds (optional)

  • Raw honey (to use as a topping, optional)

Directions:

The steps are actually pretty easy.

The most important part is to stir with a spatula all through the process!

  1. In a medium sized saucepan add the apples, cinnamon and Β½ cup of water, sauted for 2-3 minutes over medium heat. Let them caramelize and stir.

  2. Add oats, the other half cup of water, almond milk, chia seeds and stevia. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.

  3. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes and stir constantly.

  4. Divide equally between two bowls. Drizzle each serving with 1/2 teaspoon raw honey and more cinnamon (if you like). Add additional desired toppings such as fresh fruit, sunflower seeds, sliced almonds, pecans or peanut butter.

Serve and enjoy!
